Patient ‘Bhootni’

Celebrities are soft targets for trolls. Lately, Parineeti has been getting more than her fair share of hate and vitriolic messages on social media. She was recently attacked for wearing a tight blue dress, during Namaste England promotions. This time, she was savagely trolled for coloring her hair red, for her upcoming film, Jabbariya Jodi, with Sidharth Malhotra.

Talking about the look, Parineeti had written, “I wanted to try something I have never done before. So Ruchika the film’s producer suggested we go red! Loved the idea so went ahead. But must say it’s very high maintenance it’s teaching me how to be a more patient human being, Haha!”

Trolls said that she looks like a “Bhootni”, and that it didn’t go well with “her skin color”. However, Parineeti carries trolling in her stride, and doesn’t seem to be least affected by what they say.
